Galaxy

Starting Galaxy locally

1. Open a terminal
2. Change dir to the Galaxy distribution folder:
   • On Mac OS X: cd ~/wcg_jul2011/software/galaxy-dist
   • On Ubuntu: cd ~/wcg_jul2011/packages/galaxy-dist
3. Run the starter script: ./run.sh
4. Open Firefox, go to the page http://localhost:8080
